1.1 ‘Safe Work Australia’ launches a new digital hub to monitor progress towards national work health and safety targets
On June 15, 2026, ‘Safe Work Australia’ launched a new digital hub, bringing together key information on the Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy (WHS) 2023-33 and progress towards the Strategy’s key targets.
The Australian WHS Strategy sets a shared national vision of safe and healthy work for all and guides the work and collaborative effort of Safe Work Australia and its Members. It includes national qualitative and action-based targets to measure progress over the life of the Strategy.
The new digital hub provides a central online space for:
(a) Regular performance updates tracking progress against national targets
(b) Case studies developed in collaboration with Safe Work Australia Members, highlighting practical prevention work underway across Australia, and
(c) Key policy documents and supporting resources related to the Strategy.
