The IRDAI has notified the IRDAI ((Rural, Social Sector and Motor Third Party Obligations) Regulations, 2024. The objective is to specify the minimum rural, social sector, and third-party motor insurance business that insurers are required to underwrite under the Insurance Act, 1938. These norms discuss obligations regarding Rural and Social Sectors, and obligations relating to Motor third-party business. These regulations are effective from 01.04.2024.
