The Central Government has issued a notification authorising the Chairperson of the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT), Chennai, to additionally discharge the functions of the Chairperson of DRAT, Delhi.
1. Purpose of the Authorisation
This special arrangement has been made specifically to facilitate the adjudication of the appeal in the matter of: Mrs. Rajni Gulati Vs Canara Bank & Others
The decision aims to ensure timely and efficient disposal of the appeal proceedings.
2. Dual Charge for the Chairperson
The appointed official will continue to hold his substantive post as Chairperson of DRAT, Chennai, while also undertaking the responsibilities of the Chairperson of DRAT, Delhi, for this particular case.
