SEBI Settlement Helpdesk Facility

SEBI has set up a Settlement Helpdesk Facility to assist applicants and prospective applicants in understanding and complying with the procedural requirements for filing settlement applications and related matters.

The facility is intended to provide procedural support to persons seeking settlement of specified proceedings under the applicable SEBI settlement framework.

1. Objective of the Helpdesk Facility

The Settlement Helpdesk Facility has been introduced to guide applicants on the procedural aspects of the settlement process.

It aims to make the settlement application process more accessible and easier to understand for applicants and their authorised representatives.

2. Assistance for Filing Settlement Applications

The Helpdesk will assist applicants in understanding the steps involved in filing settlement applications.

This includes guidance on procedural requirements, the submission process, and related formalities that must be followed when seeking settlement.

3. Queries Relating to the Settlement Process

The Helpdesk will address queries relating to the settlement process and related matters.

Applicants may seek clarification on procedural steps involved in applying for settlement of specified proceedings.

4. Computation of Indicative Amount

The facility will also assist applicants with the computation of the Indicative Amount.

This will help applicants understand the amount payable for settlement in accordance with the applicable settlement regulations.
