Circular No SEBI/HO/DDHS_Div3/P/CIR/2022/54, 55 Dated 28.04.2022

The SEBI has reduced the timelines for listing of units of Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and units of Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvITs) to six working days to protect the interest of investors in securities and to promote the development of the securities market.

Extant norms mandate listing of units of REITs and units InvITs on the recognised stock exchanges within a period of twelve working days from the date of closure of issue.

The provisions of this circular shall be applicable to a public issue of units of REITs and units of InvITs which opens on or after June 01, 2022. Stock Exchanges and Self Certified Syndicate Banks shall make required changes to implement the same from June 01, 2022.
