Draft Circular; Dated: 21.03.2025
Under the existing policy, SEBI-registered stock brokers must obtain approval from SEBI in the form of NOC to float subsidiaries or enter into joint ventures to undertake securities-related activities in Gujarat International Finance Tech-city—International Financial Services Centre (GIFT-IFSC). Now, SEBI has proposed allowing stock brokers to undertake such activities under a Separate Business Unit (SBU) on an arms-length basis. Thus, the requirement to obtain approval in the form of NOC may be removed.
