Govt. Revises Investment and Turnover Criteria for Classifying Enterprises as MSMEs

Notification No. S.O. 1364(E); Dated: 21.03.2025

Govt. has revised classification criteria for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The investment limit for micro-enterprises has been raised from Rs 1 crore to Rs 2.5 crore, and turnover from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore. For small enterprises, the investment limit has increased from Rs 10 crore to Rs 25 crore & turnover from Rs 50 crore to Rs 100 crore. For medium enterprises, the investment limit has been revised from Rs 50 crore to Rs 125 crore & turnover from Rs 250 crore to Rs 500 crore.
