SEBI Draft Circular; Dated: 29.04.2025
SEBI has issued a draft circular seeking public comments on the proposed framework for the orderly winding down of critical operations and services of the KYC (Know Your Client) Registration Agency (KRA). SEBI proposes that the framework establish a structured mechanism for the orderly winding down of critical operations and services of KRAs in scenarios such as insolvency, voluntary/involuntary cessation, or regulatory revocation. The public can submit their comments by May 20, 2025.
