Circular no. 329/IFSCA/DPM/TS/2022-23/1, Dated: 17.06.2022

The IFSCA has clarified that resident individuals, as referred to in the RBI circular dated 16.02.2022 on Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS), are not permitted to transact or invest in Bullion Depository Receipts (BDR) on India International Bullion Exchange (IFSC) Limited (IIBX) through the LRS route.
