RBI modifies eligibility criteria for farmers engaged in aquaculture

Circular No. RBI/2022-23/51 FIDD.CO.FSD.BC.No.6/05.05.010/2022-23 dated 18.05.2022
Considering the difference in licensing/authorization requirements w.r.t to fishing/aquaculture in inland water bodies across states, RBI has modified the eligibility criteria for inland fisheries & aquaculture as mentioned in the KCC scheme -Working Capital for Animal Husbandry & Fisheries. Modified norms require beneficiaries to have necessary authorization/certification in respective states for fish farming and fishing-related activities and for other state-specific fisheries & allied activities.
