RBI has instructed all banks to migrate their websites to the new secure domain ‘.bank.in’ by October 31, 2025. This initiative is aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity framework and enhancing public confidence in digital banking and payment systems. The migration will be managed by the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), under aegis of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
