Internal Risk Assessment for Money Laundering

Press Release: 2024-2025/1261, Dated: 10.10.2024

The RBI has released a Guidance Note to assist its regulated entities (REs) in conducting risk assessments for Money Laundering (ML), Terrorist Financing (TF), and Proliferation Financing (PF). The note intends to support AML/CFT/CPF compliance efforts of the REs as well as to enhance the ability of the financial sector to detect and deter ML/TF/PF by providing certain key principles, methodology, etc.
