RBI Directs All Banks to Conduct Special Clearing Operations Under ‘Cheque Truncation System’ on March 31, 2025

The RBI has directed all banks to conduct special clearing operations under the Cheque Truncation System (CTS) exclusively for Government cheques on Monday, March 31, 2025, to ensure the smooth accounting of all Government transactions for the current financial year, 2024-25. Under the special clearing operations conducted under CTS, the presentation time will be from 17:00 hours to 17:30 hours, and the return session will be from 19:00 hours to 19:30 hours.
