RBI Directs 75% ATMs to Dispense Rs. 100/200 Notes by September 2025

To enhance public access to frequently used banknote denominations, the RBI has directed all banks and White-Label ATM Operators to dispense Rs. 100 or Rs. 200 banknotes through ATMs. By September 30, 2025, 75% of ATMs must have either denomination in at least one cassette. Whereas, by March 31, 2026, 90% of ATMs must have either denomination in at least one cassette.
