The President has assented to the Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Act 2023. This Amendment Act would be deemed to have been in effect since May 19, 2023. It aims to establish a more streamlined and accountable governance structure by delineating the powers and responsibilities of different authorities and marks a significant step in redefining the administrative landscape of Delhi.
