The IRDAI has notified that all prevailing tariffs such as Fire Insurance Tariffs, Motor Tariffs, Engineering Insurance Tariffs, and Tea Tariffs are entirely de-notified and no longer in force w.e.f. 01.04.2024. Further, IRDAI clarified that no insurer shall at any time withdraw or discourage the use of or decline to offer to any customer any of the tariff products that were in existence prior to this notification.
