IRDA Re-insurance Advisory Committee Amendment

Notification F. No. IRDAI/Reg/3/210/2025, Dated: 01.01.2025

IRDA has notified amendment in IRDAI (Re-insurance Advisory Committee) Regulations, 2019, to address resignation, removal, and casual vacancies. Regulation 5 now allows the Authority to remove members for reasons such as insolvency, physically or mentally incapable of acting as a member, convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude, conflict of interest, abuse of position, not fit to remain as a member or non-attendance without cause.
