The celebration reflects IFSCA’s commitment to aligning with international best practices while fostering financial literacy, market integrity, and sustainable investor confidence.

2. IFSCA’s Progress Across Financial Sectors

In his address, the Chairperson highlighted the notable progress achieved by IFSCA across various financial domains — including capital markets, funds management, banking, and insurance. As part of the week-long observance, IFSCA announced plans to release the “Stewardship Code” and the “Consumer Charter.” The Stewardship Code aims to promote responsible investment practices, encouraging institutional investors to act in the best interests of clients and beneficiaries. The Consumer Charter focuses on empowering investors by ensuring clarity, fairness, and accountability in financial dealings, thereby reinforcing investor protection mechanisms.

4. Events on AI, Digital Finance, and Fraud Prevention

The week will also feature a series of educational and awareness events focusing on cutting-edge topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital finance innovations, and fraud prevention. These initiatives are designed to raise awareness about emerging opportunities and risks in the evolving digital financial landscape. Through seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions, IFSCA aims to equip investors and stakeholders with knowledge to make informed and secure financial decisions.

5. Conclusion

The observance of World Investor Week 2025 underlines IFSCA’s unwavering focus on building an investor-first ecosystem at GIFT IFSC. By combining regulatory innovation with global best practices, IFSCA continues to promote a safe, transparent, and technology-driven financial environment.
