Notification No. IFSCA/GN/2024/004; Dated: 04.07.2024

IFSCA has notified IFSCA (Banking) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024. An amendment has been made to the First Schedule relating to ‘specified foreign currencies’. The IFSCA has designated four additional currencies as ‘specified foreign currencies’ under First Schedule. These currencies include Swedish Krone (SEK), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Danish Krone (DKK) and Norwegian Krone (NOK). The term ‘specified foreign currencies’ refers to currencies specified in the First Schedule to the regulations.
