IEPFA & SEBI to Host Niveshak Shivir in Pune on June 1

The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA) in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is organising Niveshak Shivir on June 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Lemon Tree Premier, City Center, Pune.

1. Objective of the Niveshak Shivir

The primary goal of this investor-centric event is to facilitate key services for retail investors, ensuring better access to their rightful entitlements. The core objectives include:

  • Facilitating Transfer of Unpaid Dividends – Assisting investors in recovering unpaid dividends that have remained unclaimed for 6–7 years.
  • Updating KYC and Nomination Details – Helping investors update their Know Your Customer (KYC) and nominee details with the respective companies to prevent future claim-related issues.
  • Resolving Pending IEPFA Claims – Addressing unresolved claims related to unclaimed and unpaid shares and dividends filed with the IEPFA.

2. Key Stakeholders & Participants

The event will witness the participation of several market infrastructure institutions and intermediaries, including:

  • National Stock Exchange (NSE)
  • Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)
  • National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL)
  • Central Depository Services Limited (CDSL)
  • Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs)

These stakeholders will be available on-site to assist investors with their specific queries and claim-related matters.

3. Important Instructions for Attendees

To ensure seamless service delivery, investors attending the event are advised to carry valid government-issued identification, which may include:
