The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is collaborating with the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) on a research project titled “Accounting and Financial Reporting Framework for NPOs and Cooperatives in SAARC Countries: A Cross-Country Study.” Led by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB), this study aims to evaluate the feasibility of a unified accounting framework for Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) and Cooperatives in SAARC nations.
To support the research, ICAI is seeking input from professionals through a questionnaire. Members are encouraged to participate and provide insights.
