1. Regulatory Background
The Central Government has issued a notification regarding the change in the place of functioning of the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT), Allahabad, established under the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act, 1993.
This relocation has been notified to facilitate continued adjudication of appeals under the debt recovery framework.
2. New Address of DRAT, Allahabad
With effect from 11 December 2025, the Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Allahabad shall function at the following address:

BSNL Premises
Patrika Marg
Prayagraj – 211001
3. Earlier Location
Prior to this notification, the DRAT was functioning from:
147-A-58/1, Jawahar Lal Nehru Road
Tagore Town
Allahabad
The earlier premises will no longer be used for DRAT operations after the notified effective date.
4. Applicability and Effective Date
- Effective from – 11 December 2025
- All hearings, filings, and registry-related functions of the DRAT shall be conducted only from the new location on and after this date.
