DGFT; procedure for General Authorisation; Export of Chemicals and related equipments

Public Notice No. 45/2015-20 Dated January 13th, 2022

The DGFT has issued public notice to lay down the procedure for grant of General Authorisation for Export of Chemicals and related equipments (GAEC). The application procedure, reporting of items exported under GAEC, record keeping, validity, general conditions etc. are prescribed.

The applicant shall be required to submit application for GAEC through SCOMET Portal in the prescribed proforma and shall be valid for 5 years. It would be required to maintain records of all export documents for a period of 5 years.
