SEBI, in collaboration with Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) and industry bodies, has launched the Securities Market TechSprint as part of Global Fintech Fest 2026. The initiative aims to encourage the development of innovative technology-driven solutions to address emerging challenges in the securities market ecosystem.

The TechSprint seeks to foster collaboration among regulators, market participants, fintech firms, startups and technology innovators to strengthen market efficiency, investor protection and regulatory compliance.

1. Focus on Technology-Driven Innovation

The Securities Market TechSprint is designed to identify and promote innovative solutions to address key operational, compliance, and investor protection challenges in the securities market.

The initiative reflects SEBI’s continued focus on leveraging emerging technologies to enhance market resilience and improve the overall investor experience.

2. AI-Based Detection of Synthetic Media and Phishing Attacks
