The Ministry of Finance has notified amendments to the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006. As per the amendment in Rule 17 i.e., Proposal for approval of Unit, of Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, an application seeking permission for setting up a Unit requiring recognition, registration, license or authorisation by the IFSCA shall be made to the Administrator (IFSCA) in Form FA, instead of Form F.
