The due date of the fourth and third premature redemptions of the SGB 2016 Series II and SGB 2016 – 17, Series II shall be September 29 & 30, 2022. The RBI has notified that the redemption price of SGB for fourth and third premature redemptions that are due on September 29 & 30, 2022, shall be Rs.4952/-per unit of SGB based on the simple average closing gold price of 999 purity of the week (Monday-Friday) preceding the date of redemption as published by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA).
