Draft Circular Dated 17.12.2025

SEBI has proposed MITRA (Mutual Fund Investment Tracing and Retrieval Assistant), a platform developed by RTAs to help investors locate inactive or unclaimed Mutual Fund folios. This will allow investors to identify overlooked investments, encourages investor’s KYC compliance, reduces unclaimed mutual fund folios, and mitigates against fraud risks. Public comments are invited on the draft Circular latest by January 07, 2025.
