The SEBI notifies SEBI (Credit Rating Agencies) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022. SEBI has broadened the area of work of a credit rating agency. Now a credit rating agency can conduct the rating of the various instruments as may be specified by the Board on a time-to-time basis, earlier the rating was restricted to the financial instruments only.
