SEBI Samuhik Prativedan Manch

PR No.43/2025, Dated: 21.07.2025

In a significant move to simplify regulatory compliance, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), in collaboration with stock exchanges, has launched the Samuhik Prativedan Manch—a unified, technology-based common reporting platform for stock brokers.

1. Current Compliance Burden on Brokers

At present, stock brokers registered with multiple stock exchanges are required to:

  • Submit the same set of compliance reports individually to each exchange with which they are registered.
  • Maintain parallel reporting processes, leading to duplication of efforts and increased compliance overhead.

2. What Is Samuhik Prativedan Manch?

The Samuhik Prativedan Manch is a centralised compliance reporting mechanism that enables:

  • Submission of compliance reports through a single exchange, even for brokers registered with multiple exchanges.
  • Seamless, digital integration for compliance workflows using a technology-driven platform.

This platform brings in efficiency, uniformity, and convenience for the intermediary ecosystem.

3. Benefits of the Unified Platform

Key advantages for stock brokers include:

  • Elimination of redundant filings across exchanges
  • Reduced compliance costs and effort
  • Consistency in submissions, minimising scope for reporting errors
  • Faster processing and tracking of compliance status

4. Conclusion

The launch of Samuhik Prativedan Manch marks a significant milestone in SEBI’s drive towards simplifying regulatory compliance through digital transformation. It aligns with the regulator’s broader agenda of ease of doing business, market transparency, and enhanced governance in the securities ecosystem.
