Notification No. SEBI/LAD-NRO/GN/2025/230; Dated: 14.02.2025

SEBI has notified the SEBI (Mutual Funds) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025. An amendment has been made to Regulation 25 relating to ‘Asset Management Company and its obligations’. A new sub-regulation 16B has been inserted, which requires an asset management company (AMC) to invest a percentage of the remuneration of employees as specified by the Board in units of MF schemes based on the designation or roles of the designated employees in the manner as specified by the Board.
