SC-appointed Expert Committee Makes its Report Public on Adani-Hindenburg Dispute

Earlier, the Hindenburg accused Adani Group of “stock manipulation and accounting fraud”. On Mar 02, 2023, the Supreme Court ordered the formation of a 6-member committee to investigate the allegations and their report is now public. The committee stated that the Hindenburg report contained no new data but was substantially a collection of inferences from the data in the public domain. Further, the SEBI has been granted 3 months’ time to conduct the investigation.
