‘Principles of Financial Market Infrastructure’ shall also apply to AMC Repo Clearing Limited: SEBI clarifies

Circular no. SEBI/HO/DDHS/DDHS-RACPOD1/P/CIR/2022/174, Dated 16.12.2022
Earlier, the SEBI had issued a circular on ‘Principles of Financial Market Infrastructures’ (PFMIs) whereby the Clearing Corporations and Depositories were mandated to comply with the Principles of PFMIs published by the Committee on Payments and Settlement Systems and International Organization of Securities Commission.
Now, the SEBI has clarified that the said circular on the principles of Financial Market Infrastructures (PFMIs) shall also apply to AMC Repo Clearing Corporations. The circular shall come into force with an immediate effect.
