Circular No. SEBI/HO/AFD-1/AFD-1-PoD/P/CIR/2024/42, 13.05.2024
Earlier, SEBI, vide circular dated 10.05.2024, stipulated that at least one key personnel, amongst the associated persons functioning in the key investment team of the Manager of an Alternative Investment Fund, shall obtain certification from the National Institute of Securities Market by passing the NISM Series-XIX-C: Alternative Investment Fund Managers Certification Examination.
This shall apply to AIF registrations filed after 10.05.2024. The board has set a compliance deadline of 09.05.2024 for existing AIF schemes and pending scheme applications as of 10.05.2024. The provisions of this circular shall come into force with immediate effect.
