MoF identifies 58 companies as shell entities involved in unfair trade practices

SEBI has investigated the shares trading activities of 58 companies, suspected of violating SEBI (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices relating to Securities Market) Regulations, 2003, including market manipulation and associated unfair trade practices. The Union Minister of State for Finance, Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, provided this information in a written reply in Rajya Sabha. The Ministry also confirmed that SEBI has recognized these companies as non-shell companies.
