MCA amends the Companies (Indian Accounting Standards) Rules, 2015

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) vide Notification dated 4 April 2022 has issued new Companies (Indian Accounting Standard) Amendment Rules, 2022 in consultation with the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA). These rules shall be applicable from the financial year beginning on or after 1st April 2022.
The notification has brought few additions and substitutions in Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) particularly in Ind AS 101- First-time Adoption of Indian Accounting Standards, Ind AS 103- Business Combinations, Ind AS 109- Financial Instruments, Ind AS 16- Property, plant and Equipment, Ind AS 37- Provisions, Contingent Liabilities and Contingent Assets and Ind AS 41- Agriculture.
