ICAI has issued an important announcement addressing the sensitization of companies to comply with provisions related to Significant Beneficial Ownership (SBO) u/s 90 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Rules. This announcement is in reference to the initiative of the MCA to create awareness among companies regarding their obligations related to SBO. In this regard, members are advised to promptly ensure compliance with the provisions of SBO in their companies and to file any pending forms without any delay.
