IBBI prescribes a detailed list of records to be preserved by the Liquidator

Voluntary Liquidation Process

Notification No. IBBI/2022-23/GN/REG095, Dated: 16.09.2022

The IBBI has notified the IBBI (Voluntary Liquidation Process) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2022. Regulation 41 has been substituted with the new regulation. Now IBBI has prescribed detailed norms w.r.t the preservation of the documents by the liquidator. The copy of an electronic copy of all records (physical and electronic) is to be maintained for a minimum period of 8 years, and the physical copy of records is to be maintained for a minimum period of 3 years.
