IBBI mandates IRPs to open a separate email account for all correspondences with the stakeholders

Interim Resolution Professional

Notification No. IBBI/2022-23/GN/REG093, dated: 16.09.2022

The Govt. has notified the IBBI (Insolvency Resolution Process for Corporate Persons) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2022. A new regulation 4C has been inserted, which requires an interim resolution professional (IRP) to open an email account and use it for all correspondences with the stakeholders. Further, in the event of his replacement by a resolution professional, IRP is required to handover the credentials of the email to RP.
