Timeline for Disposing Show-Cause Notices

Notification No. IBBI/2024-25/GN/REG115, Dated: 13.08.2024

The IBBI has notified the IBBI (Inspection and Investigation) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024. An amendment has been made to Regulation 13(2). As per the amended norms, the Disciplinary Committee must now endeavour to dispose of the show-cause notice within a period of 60 days from the due date for receipt of the reply to the show-cause notice. Earlier, the time period was of 35 days from the date of the issuance of the show-cause notice.
