The Govt. has reviewed the existing FDI policy in the space sector and accordingly amended the policy. As per the amended FDI policy, 100% FDI is allowed under the automatic route for manufacturing of components and systems/sub-systems for satellites, ground segments and user segments. Currently, FDI is permitted in the establishment and operation of satellites via Govt. approval route.
