- IDB and IFRS partner to boost sustainability reporting:- The IDB, IDB Invest, and IFRS Foundation have teamed up to promote IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards in Latin America and the Caribbean. The partnership will focus on knowledge sharing, capacity building, and policy engagement to enhance transparency and drive sustainable finance in the region.
- ISSB to release draft on Green House Gas Emission disclosure updates:- The ISSB will publish an Exposure Draft amending IFRS S2 on April 28, 2025, focusing on greenhouse gas emissions disclosures. Open for public comment, the draft includes key changes to Scope 3 Category 15 emissions, jurisdictional flexibility in emissions measurement, and guidance on industry classification standards. Stakeholders are encouraged to review and provide feedback via the IFRS website.
