FTP 2015-2020 amended to permit payment of exports & imports in INR to sync with RBI guidelines: Notification

NOTIFICATION NO. 33/2015-2020 dated September 16th, 2022

The DGFT has issued a notification to insert an amendment in FTP 2015-20 to permit invoicing, payment & settlement of exports & imports in INR to sync with the RBI’s A.P. (DIR Series) Circular No. 10 dated July 11th, 2022.

Notably, the settlement of trade transactions is also permitted through Special Rupee Vostro Account by following specified procedure in the amended provisions.
