FATF adds UAE and removes Zimbabwe from ‘High-Risk and Other Monitored Jurisdictions’ list

Financial Action Task Force; FATF; High-Risk and Other Monitored Jurisdictions

Press Release: 2021-2022/1872, Dated: 16.03.2022

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has released a public document ‘High-Risk Jurisdictions subject to a Call for Action’. FATF had earlier identified the following jurisdictions as having strategic deficiencies which have developed an action plan with the FATF to deal with them. As per the public statement, United Arab Emirates has now been added to the list of Jurisdictions under Increased Monitoring and Zimbabwe has been removed from this list.
