DGFT revises import policy of several items falling under tariff head 7112 from free to restricted

Import policy of tariff head 7112; DGFT;

Notification No. 01/2015-2020 Dated April 29th, 2022

The import policy of ITC (HS) Codes of tariff head 7112 under Chapter 71 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule –I (Import Policy) has been revised from ‘Free’ to ‘Restricted’ with immediate effect. The Tariff Heading namely 7112 30 00, 7112 91 00, 7112 92 00, 7112 99 10, 7112 99 20 and 7112 99 90 have been put under restricted category. In this regard, the DGFT has issued notification.
