The Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has presented her fourth Union Budget in Parliament. Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman has become the first women Finance Minister to present four consecutive Union Budgets.
Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the Govt. has again decided not to print copies of the Union Budget 2022. Thus, the budget was presented by the FM in Parliament in a paperless format.
The Finance Bill 2022 has proposed various amendments to the tax and corporate laws.
