The Government vide Notification dated December 21st, 2021 has made several amendments of the Finance Act, 2021 effective under GST laws from January 01, 2021. In consequence of these changes, the Government has also made procedural changes in the CGST Rules.

Further, a few other procedural amendments are also made in the CGST Rules. In this note, Taxmann (Indirect Tax) Research and Advisory Team has analysed such amendments and their implications.
