Special Courts Under the Income-Tax & Black Money Act

Notification No.126 /2024, dated 10-12-2024

For the purposes of sec. 280A of the Income Tax Act and Sec. 84 of the Black Money Act, the Central Government, in consultation with the Chief Justice of the High Court of Madras, designates various courts in the State of Tamil Nadu as Special Courts in the area of

Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Puducherry, namely:

a) Court of I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate E.O. (I), Chennai and the Court of II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate E.O. (II), Chennai;

b) Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madurai;

c) Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore;

d) Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry.
