Circular No. 19/2022 dated September 14th, 2022
The CBIC has issued circular to allow transhipment of containerized export cargo of Bangladesh destined for third countries through riverrine and land routes and a detailed procedure has been issued in this regard.
Now, the exported goods from Bangladesh shall enter India through riverine Land Customs Station, Hemnagar, move up to Kolkata or Haldia Port using waterways, and thereafter cross by Rail up to Nhava Sheva or Mundra port, from where goods shall be exported to third countries.
