CBDT issues Corrigendum to Notification Notifying ITR Forms for AY 2023-24

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) released new Income-tax Return (ITR) Forms for the Assessment Year 2023-24 vide Notification No. 04/2023, dated 10-02-2022. To facilitate the taxpayers and ease of filing, only the bare minimum changes necessitated due to amendments in the Income-tax Act, 1961 have been made.
However, the said ITR forms contain some minor errors or omissions and to correct these errors, the CBDT issued a corrigendum. The corrections are related to missing references to amendments and a few changes related to the date.
