Anti-Dumping Duty on Copier Paper

Notification No. 48/2021-Customs (ADD), dated August 27, 2021

The Government has issued Notification No. 48/2021-Customs (ADD), dated August 27, 2021 in order to extend the applicability of Anti-Dumping Duty (‘ADD’) on the import of ‘Uncoated Copier Paper’ originating or exported from Indonesia and Singapore till February 28, 2022.

Currently, ADD is payable on the import of Uncoated Copier Paper originating or exported from Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore vide Notification No. 56/2018-Customs (ADD), dated December 4, 2018, which is applicable till December 3, 2021. ADD only on the import of ‘Uncoated Copier Paper’ from Indonesia and Singapore is extended till February 28, 2022.

The ADD is payable on the differential amount of landed value and amount specified in the Notification No. 56/2018 (supra).
